August Shout Outs!

slider-patreon

Last month was the first month of my ongoing Patreon Campaign. I am so grateful and fortunate to have some very incredible backers. I want to take a moment to call out my awesome patrons who backed at the “Shout Out” and higher level:

Teeg Ketchen, Neale Genereux, Amy Backstrom, Dan Rehberg, Myke Prohaska, Ken Chapman, Daniel Choe, Joanne Maiden, and Alex (last name withheld)!

With their help and the help of other generous patrons, we’ve had some very cool things go up on our exclusive blog, like behind the scenes process shots and a Tenko King Bestiary.

What is Patreon? It’s a super simple way to help support artists and comics you like. You can pledge any amount you want and set a monthly maximum so you never go over budget. I’m looking to you for your help and support, any donation, spreading the word, reposting, reblogging, any way you can help makes a direct difference. Thanks for the support!

Become a Patron

Hey everyone, Tavis here! I’ve launched a Patreon with a cool behind the scenes Patron blog. What is Patreon? It’s a super simple way to help support artists and comics you like. You can pledge any amount you want and set a monthly maximum so you never go over budget. I’m looking to you for your help and support, any donation, spreading the word, reposting, reblogging, any way you can help makes a direct difference. There are cool different reward tiers for different donation levels, but even $1 a month helps. If we can get to $1,000 a month we will start a Stranger Danger Podcast, hosted by Megan and myself (with special guest Jonas). Anyway you can help is wonderful. Thanks for the support!

We’re Onett

If you been following me for a while you know that I love video games. Specifically MY video games, the games that I grew up with and spent maybe too much time playing. The games that would lead me down the path to actually go to school for Game Art and Design. Lately I’ve begn to guide Jonas down this path, slowly winding him backwards through time. In doing so, I feel like I’ve rekindled that long lost feeling in myself. I feel like I’ve got back some of that magic I’d almost forgotten about. This summer we spent a good deal of our time bonding over video games.

So how’s this lead to art, and comics, and you? Well, one game that I’ve been replaying is Earthbound (it’s so good you guys. Really, go play it if you haven’t, go replay it if you have) and frankly I just really had to draw it. That’s where you come in. I’m offering these 24×36″ prints:

These are the biggest prints I’ve ever offered. Pick your favorite Flavor: Plain, Mint, Strawberry, Banana, or Peanut

Because of the size and variety I’m doing these in pre-ordered waves. Essentially you pick your favorite flavor, and when I hit the threshold for a minimum print run I’ll print them up and mail them out. I’m more than happy to sign them too (if you like that kind of thing) just let me know :)

I’m really proud of this piece and hopefully you love it too.

Love and Evil,

Tavis

In case you missed it…

Back in March we released a new comic. An all ages fantasy adventure webcomic called Tenko King. This is a long form fantasy epic that updates every Monday and Thursday. This year we’ve really pushed to get the word out about our new comic, and have had the wonderful opportunity to attend more shows to introduce it and Thunderskull Press to new readers. But we could always use more help. We absolutely love it when we see our comics shared, or when we get emails and interactions on facebook or twitter. So keep ’em coming. In the meantime, if you haven’t been reading, here’s what you’ve missed so far on this season of Tenko King —
